Sharing a very nice futokoromono by Taka Hirotsune ( 高廣常 [花押] ) which I just received on consignment. Shishi depicted in a matched shakudo set with gold highlights. Very nice pairing of fuchigashira and menuki appropriate for mounting a katana or large wakizashi.

Hirotsune studied under Kato Naotsune of Yanagawa School in Edo.
